Between Recess is a Chennai based band formed in January 2014 by Irfan Hyder and Kevin Nappoly. A band of five gifted musicians namely, Irfan Hyder (Vocals), Kevin Nappoly (Bass/Rhythm/Keys/Vocals), Vaibhav Krishna Limbu (Lead Guitarist), Karthik Ramesh (Drums/Percussion) and NP Balaji (Bass/Rhythm). They're known for the way they bring out the theme of a performances with songs from genres like Rock, Pop, Fusion and Acoustic across languages like English, Hindi and Tamil. Versatility is the best feature of the band.

The band has performed in places like Chennai and Bangalore bringing entertainment and hype wherever they go. One of they're biggest shows to date is Rockstock '14, the biggest beach rock festival in India where the band shared the stage with popular bands like Junkyard Groove, Skrat, Avial, Girish and the Chronicles, etc. "Being the youngest band in that show was the highlighting feature of the performance", says Irfan Hyder.
