Alif is “Sufi Ethnic” Rock band based out of Pune (Formed in 2008). Music embodies “Music, Expression, and Freedom” – a fusion of classic rock with Urdu/Kashmiri lyrics. The music resounds with contemporary references and an informed understanding of the two-faced times we live in.  Through poetry and music we hope to subtly or at times strongly bring attention to the importance of oneness of all beings.
