Desi Roots is an amalgamation of musicians/artists who have practiced and performed art over a decade of years and specialize in SUFI & BOLLYWOOD music for corporate, college/university and private events.

Some of our musicians take pride of working and associating with bollywood artists like Swanand Kirkire, Harshdeep Kaur, Jasbir Jassi, Indian Ocean etc. and have even composed the title track of the film “Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene” (released in Jan 2015)

Our first single/video – Main Kyun Chahoon has been featured on MTV Indies and we desire to represent combined Indian cultures and its heritage to the world map of the music industry
