Formed in March 2012, Fovea is an Alternative Rock band hailing all the way from Simla.
Started as by Amit Thakur (guitars) and Rohit Rana (drums) both batchmates at Indira Gandhi Medical College, who shared quite a same interest in music, in January 2012 as a part-time jamming duo, they later got joined by Digvijay Singh Rathee on vocals, Kiran Ujjwal on rhythm and acoustic guitars, and Ashwani Negi on bass guitar.
The band's playing style varies from blues to pop-rock to other sub genres of metal. Band says to have an influence from Led Zeppelin, Guns n' Roses, Poets of the fall, Ac/Dc, As i Lay dying, Dio, Jal, Jack Black, BFMV, A7X, Slash, David Bowie, Ugly Kid Joe, The Used, Poison 
.
They hold "Main Hairaan Hoon" as their debut single, and are working on their first album.
