Gaurav Dagaonkar
is a Music Composer and singer from Mumbai, India. He has composed music for Bollywood movies such as Sixteen,Joker,Chal Pichchur Banate Hain, Will You Marry Me and Lanka. As a singer, he is popularly known for his college anthem College Days as for his mash-up band Synchronicity. He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Gaurav’s tryst with music began during his second year of Engineering, when he won an inter-college western solo singing competition. After becoming the vocalist of his college band, Gaurav taught himself to play the guitar and started writing and composing original music. After passing out of IIM Ahmedabad in 2006, Gaurav decided to become a full-time music composer, and began working on an album with noted drummer and music producer Ranjit Barot.
