Once upon another time, four friends were sitting in a lawn.They were agitated by the power cut, mosquito bites and Gig’s headache. Suddenly Amit said”I Quit”. He was fed up of playing off beats in the band as they were obsessed with it!Amit’s words turned out to be the band’s name later.I Quit was formed in the end of the year 2009 when all the members of the band were experimenting with their instruments to find their original sound. Finally after listening to different type of genres and individual influences, band found their original sound as ‘Happy Feel Punk’ genre. Band’s sound revolves around simple time signature supported by groovy bass lines, aggressive rhythm patterns, distorted arpeggios, and melodic breakdowns. Knowing the fact that punk bands have always been underdogs, I Quit is well known for their loud and energetic live performances where the crowd directly relates to what band is trying to deliver. With a clear vision of creating good original music, band looks forward to stick together as long as possible and play as much live as they can to keep the spirit alive.
