Jeepers Creepers was formed in 2011 with an effort to break away from the conventions,trying to bring something fresh to the uprising indie music scene in India.Their sound is influenced from the post-punk/brit punk genre,carrying the flavours of bands such as Arctic monkeys,The Killers,Franz Ferdinand,etc.Jeepers Creepers featured in the Yamaha Asian Beat Kolkata Prelims,Kolkata Autumn Music Festival,Independence Rock XXVI, Xavier's Institute of Business anagement,Bhubaneswar,etc.The band recently won the Kolkata prelims of Livewire-2011 and performed in the semi-finals of Mood Indigo,IIT Bombay.
