Khushboo Khanumwas born at Andheri (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra in a Punjabi Muslim family, her maternal grandparents are from Lahore, Western Punjab. She has three brothers. She had her primary education in Swami Muktananda High School located in Andheri area. She is a high school drop-out, she couldn't study after 8th standard since she became busy with films by then.Kushboo speaks Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil,Telugu, Marathi, and English.
