Nishaan is a Hindi experimental Rock Band. Formed in early 2012 with Avisekh – Vocals, Samrat – Guitars, Subhadeep- Bass,Guitar- Titas, Aniket-drums and percussion. The genre of music that this band is exploring is something very much experimental with flavors of alternative and progressive rock. Dream Theater,Alterbridge,Goo goo dolls and Indian folk music has been an inspiration for the band. The band members try to give a music a whole new dimension when it comes to a cover and a very experimental when its an original. The uniqueness of the band lies in its lyrics which is accompanied by elaborate sound experiments.
