Started career in 1987 , awarded with "NABIN SURYA AWARD" for the "BEST FEMALE SINGER of ASSAM", for the year 1997 by U.N.E.S.C.O. Sung in thousands of audio albums, serials, films, conducted several Musical Shows. First Playback done for Assamese feature film “Ranangini” in the year 1992. In 2007, done her playback for the Assamese Feature Film “Joonda Emman Gunda”. She has also proved herself as a Composer and Lyricist in her Assamse Pop Album "JANMA" . Recently working on her new album "MEGH". The promotional video of this album with the title "Shukula Megh" has been released. Also working on various Regional, National & International Music Ventures.Apart from singing she has also enacted in an Assamese Feature Film 'MAHARATHI' and in several Serials & Telefilms. She has been awarded with "Chitralekha Award" as the Best Director for an Educational Video Film. After a long break she's back to acting. She has acted in the Video Album "RUMAL" . Done a great role for an Assamese Mega Serial "Anuradha" as MOUSHUMI for the Channel RANG. Presently hosting a new show "Musical Couch" for the NewsLive & Rang Channel and also performing live shows with Zubeen Garg across the various parts of India and abroad. Upcoming a new fun show "Zublee'r Googlee" on RANG Channel
