An outstanding and imaginative Musician, Arranger, Composer and Trainer of the present generation, PRADIPTO SENGUPTA belongs to a musical family from Kolkata, West Bengal. His initial training on Mandolin started at an early age from Shri Shubhash Pal, a renowned artist of All India Radio, Kolkata. After his initial training, Pradipto started his advance training under the guidance of Shri Saroj Barua, a well-known Mandolinist in Kolkata. In the year 1982 he became a member of Kolkata Cine Musicians Association and started working with all leading Music Directors in Bengali Film Industry. He is well-known for his purity and systematic development of his musical Instrument and has developed an unbeatable control over the Instrument along with his professional career both in Indian and Western Classical Music.
