Born (August 30, 1991) in Punjab, Guru Randhawa is a singer-songwriter and ready to challenge the norm. He began singing around the age of 7, and has been performing in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. After completing High School, Guru Randhawa moved to Delhi to pursue his passion for music. To advance in the business of entertainment, he joined IIPM college and finished his MBA.
Guru Randhawa started receiving recognition as a solo performer in India after appearing on stage with various Bollywood and Hip Hop artists such as Kailash Kher and Bohemia. He made his debut after co-writing ‘Same girl’ with the UK based R&B sensation Arjun. GURU decided to traveled to London for the making of the Music Video for ‘Same girl’ (Video receives 150,000K views in the first week).
As a child, Guru was highly influenced by artists such as Babbu Maan, Bohemia and American songwriter Bruno Mars.
