Mr. S. Vijayakumar is fondly known as 'SIR' Vijayakumar in the security fraternity. Mr. Vijayakumar started, Security & Intelligence Resources (SIR) with a team of four persons from a small rented office in Madurai, Tamilnadu in 1994. Subsequently he took over the security service company, Industrial Security & Intelligence (India) Private Limited popularly.A graduate of Business Management and Law, Mr. Vijayakumar had served in the Indian Air Force and had received the Marustal Seva Medal for meritorious services. His inclination to help the ex-servicemen led him to create a security services company and today, he is widely recognized as a pioneer and Industry leader and represents the private security industry before government bodies. Mr. Vijayakumar also serves as an Executive Director to the Tamilnadu & Pondicherry chapter of Central Association for the Private Security Industry of India (CAPSI). Mr. Vijayakumar is a renowned expert on subjects like security, loss prevention, training and disaster management and has received Awards for providing Best Security Service from Maditssia, Madurai, Consumer Forum Magazine, Chennai and Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. His ambition is to make ISI a national leader in security business recognised for its service quality and commitment to customers and employees
