Formed in 2009,the band has had a series of changes in the line-up since its formation, but Avijit, Sunny and Bittu remained rock-solid and stuck to the motto of the devotion to music in form of RONON. Being mentored by renowned musician Mainak “Bumpy” Nag Chowdhury was another positive aspect for the band’s patience. Sunny engrossed himself deeper into the field of electronica, whereas Chayan kept his skills and musical arrangements for the band rolling after being rewarded a silver medal in National Classical Guitaring. Avijit, who had been playing since he was 5years old, had stormed the locals with his bass skills by then and was eager to venture far beyond. Our newest member is Pratik as a Keyboardist. He started his journey wid Ronon from earlier 2013. His bouncy fingers create a melodious storm whenever he plays his keys. Hence, started the search for a perfect vocalist who could relate to the thought-processing of the band more than anything. Ronon’s dedication paid off when ARPAN KHEPA showed interest and walked in to be a part of RONON as the vocalist earlier in 2012. 
ARPAN KHEPA is a man who needs no introduction. He is an institution himself. A man who had music breezing through his blood and soul since the age of four starting take the stage at five, leaving the audience breathless with his charming voice since then. Despite of achieving such heights ARPAN KHEPA wants to work with RONON to bring about a new face in the aspect of folk music and present it to a greater mass. He finds the solace he always seeked for, by being an integral part of RONON.
Recordings and arrangements of tracks took pace and finally, Indra, the ex-drummer of RONON joined in to fill the void later in 2012.
