Rudraksh The band started in September 2009 in Pune by students of Wadia College named Ajay, Gaurav, Ashpak & Jobin. Shishir joined in March 2014.Since then the band has been involved in many nationwide music competitions & performances and won the IIT Rock fest twice.After a break for 2 years Rudraksh is back on the stage from March 2014, fully fledged commercially with a dream to make name in the music industry. We have won the National competitions at IIT twice,After 2 years of break we restarted commercially from March 2014.for us Sufi is an expression to communicate with the Almighty and all the People.We wanted it to be with the modern times so we followed the rock version of Sufism.Thus we evolved as Sufi Rock Band. This genre is defined to us and well appreciated by our audience.
