Rusty Dust we are a metal band, but metal doesn't mean that we worship the devil or that we are a group of anti-religion or anti musicians. We play and give out whatever talents that our almighty God has gifted us with. People sometimes asks, 'why all the growling vocals or the diminished riffs or those deadly blast beats,, why don't you make your music soft and exalt His name.' But let us ask you this. .is there anywhere in the Bible that says that you must worship our Holy God only with soft or clean music??, the Bible rather tells us to worship Him with all our hearts and minds, and that's all that matters to us. Our music describes each and everyone of us in a lot of ways. we all face trials and temptations, experience hardships and problems, go through heartaches or depressions. . .whom do you turn to in times of your need?? Music can really change your life in a lot of ways. whenever you feel down or lost, just slip in your headphones, and listen to a song which you think will comfort you, listen to it for 2-3 times,,examine carefully how the song is compiled, hum along with the lyrics and think about the artist,,ask yourself this, 'Did he composed the song just like that?'. To write a song is not as easy as it sounds, you have to blend together all the types of genres that each of the members are actually influenced with,share ideas, work on it, practice and practice which ultimately ends up as music. Similarly our life is a song, we face hardships, come across different kinds of people, face lots of criticisms. .but its up to us to decide whether we want to move on or not, how we want our life to lead us in the right direction.
