It all started with Rahul, Anuj and Ajay, students at YMCA school of music. In spite of being from different backgrounds, they soon realized that they shared the same passion for music. 

Thus SARHAD was formed with Ajay on vocals, Rahul on Lead guitar and Anuj on Bass, . Later on Gulshan (fondly called gullu) came with the keyboards and Anurag joined the band as drummer (till then the band was missing a Drummer). 

Off lately, band has seen some additions. With a new Drummer onboard; band has added more variety to its capabilities expanding across genres
