Born in 1989, Sayani started her classical taleem under Smt. Chandana Chakrabarty since she was 4. At present, she is a Scholar at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata continuing her tutelage under guru Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty and also receiving taleem from Padma Bhushan Girija Devi, A first class first in Bachelor's and Master's degree in Classical Music from Calcutta University, Sayani is a regular performing artist of all India radio. National scholarship award for the young artists 2010-2011 from the ministry of culture, Govt of India; Telegraph award for excellence 2006; Dover lane talent search award 2011 and many other awards, scholarships added feather in her cap.

Apart from recording playbacks for television and silver screen with eminent music directors Sayani is composing music of her own and now expanding her musical endeavours in experimental projects and live shows...
