The indie pop playing trio from the North East of India, receive a chunk of their inspiration from affairs that affect everyday life like relationships, habits, the afterlife, etc. They had their first run in in high school, where their lead vocalist, Pezo Kronu and drummer, Matsram Sangma were schoolmates. However, the quirky group were actually officially formed in January 2010 by Pezo Kronu, Matsram Sangma and bassist, Riko Kronu. Their name, Street Stories, was instigated by a Blink 182 poster that hung in their bassist’s bedroom wall and unlike their name, their music does not brood over gloomy stories about the streets. The fun-loving group of musicians are known for having an oomph for high crazed live performances. They idealize the notion of taking chances because music is very much entwined in their mindset. Daily struggles and perceptions are incorporated into their lyrics and that is what makes their music also very relatable. They released their EP, The Apple and the Clown on December, 2011 and their other EP, Summer Calling, on July, 2013. They are currently working on their next release.
