Vishal Kothari comes from a Business family with no Musical background. But his love for music was evident in his growing up years. He started his training in Music under the guidance of Dr. Ram Deshpandeji.

His musical career began with a stint in ZEE TV ‘s super hit show SA RE GA MA PA. Where he bagged prize for 6 consecutive shows. Along side he won many collegiate and intercollegiate shows at state and national levels. He was placed in peoples heart and mind and got his first brush of fame and popularity with Indian Idol season 1. He was amongst the top ten singers.
