Ziro Festival of Music is India's Greatest Outdoor Music Festival held in the Ziro valley in the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It showcases the independent music scene in India. The festival is spread over four days and is hosted by members of the Apatani people in Ziro.
The Journey: The journey to the Ziro Festival of Music is an adventurous one. There aren't any direct flights to Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh; and hence, a direct flight is taken to Guwahati, Assam, which is around 440km from Ziro Valley. There's a train that can be boarded in the morning, evening or late in the night from Guwahati, a journey of approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes, to Naharlagun, a town situated in the foothills of Himalayas in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
