Reloop announced two new budget-friendly turntables for beginners who want to learn DJing. The RP-1000 MK2 and the RP-2000 USB MK2. The cheaper RP-1000 MK2 is a belt-drive turntable that’s got an S-shaped tone arm and a pitch fader with a +/- 10% range.

The RP-2000 USB MK2, on the other hand, is a direct drive turntable with a built-in phono preamp so you can plug it to your mixer’s line input. It also has a USB jack so you can connect it straight to your laptop for ripping vinyl to your digital DJ library. The Reloop RP-1000MK2 costs €219 and the RP-2000 USB MK2 costs €279.
