A swiss based sound optimizer product company Cympad has announced to release Shark Cympad. It is a new take on the snare drum mute – the Cympad Shark made from premium-grade cellular foam is capable of enhancing sound and eliminating access of vibration. The Shark's exclusive, hinged design allows the device to float on the playing surface - subtly reducing volume and resonance by reacting to the intensity of the stroke.

The shark cympad dampens the drum without changing the sound and it is easily removable and can be used and re-used.  The manufacturer of Shark Cympad says ‘it keeps more of the initial attack of the drum and then eliminates the unwanted resonances according to the power and intensity of the stroke’.  The Cympad’s shark available at price rate £13.99.
