Qatar-India Cultural Fest in Odhisa Celebrates Countries Bilateral Relationship


As part of Qatar-India 2019 Year of Culture, Odisha wowed hundreds in the audience at a spectacular extravaganza held on 14th June 2019. The event was lined up with exciting performances and artwork. The event involved India’s Got Talent winner "The Prince Dance Group" and prominent classical dancer and choreographer Saswat Joshi.

They were among the incredible talents from the Indian state of Odisha,  who promoted the close relationship between the two countries along with them joined the renowned flutist A P Pattanaik who rendered a special performance of the song “Only You”, which is a creative and soothing fusion composition which included flute and vocals. 

The event got more intriguing with sand artist and India’s Got Talent finalist Manas Kumar Sahoo along with his wife impressed the crowd with his performance “Sand Art - A Journey : Qatar and India” which depicted renowned landmarks and symbols in Qatar and India through sand animation.  The local folk dance was an attraction with the beat of drums, the lilting songs, the spectacular and graceful body stances which proved a visual delight to the audience.
