Technology that will make your event safer 99.9% of the time

US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have organized a challenge cum competition to find the best face-recognition technology. Eventually, it was a success when a company called Ntech Shanghai and start-up Yitu Tech, whose face search product not only match a person’s face correctly 99.9 per cent of the time but also pick up right face in a gallery of a million mugshot 80 per cent of the time.  Using this technology security and surveillance will become more robust especially during events which remains a soft target.
