While straight couples do put in a lot of thought in dressing up for their big day, the Indian LGBT community across the world has become famous for dressing in the most gorgeous way possible for their wedding. And, that's not all, the same-sex couples have now become an authority of sorts in setting some serious wedding fashion goals. Don't believe us? Well, here's a look at some of the most stylish LGBT couples who stood out in crowd on their wedding day.
We are talking about Anuja Ankola and Adrienne Rochetti. While Anuja hails from India, Adrienne is apparently from America and when both the ladies fell in love and decided to tie the knot, they chose to respect each other's traditions and opted for their respective traditional wedding attires. Anuja stunned in a traditional red lehenga choli with elaborate golden embroidery, Andrienne opted for a classic white wedding gown with a deep heart-neck detailing.
Ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee took to Instagram to share the stylish photos of an Indo-American couple who tied the knot recently, dressed in the most elegant Sabyasachi ensembles. The designer shared some candid photos from Kasey Francis Espinoza and Rudy E Portobanco's Miami wedding. The wedding that was culminated in Florida had the duo looking their dapper best in classic bandhgala suits by the ace couturier.
Pakistani artist Sundas Malik and Anjali Chakra, who hails from India got into a union last year and when they decided to celebrate their anniversary, they took to Instagram to share some adorable pictures of them dressed in beautiful ethnic wear. The pictures have Anjali and Sundas posing under an umbrella amid rains and also in front of a heritage building wearing the traditional South Asian outfits - a lehenga and a sari. Sabysachi shared the lovely wedding pictures of Romit Deb and Walter Badillo, who tied the knot in the beautiful capital of Spain’s Andalusia region, Seville. Interestingly, the couple tied the knot five-years-ago, but the pictures are setting the internet on fire now, after Sabyasachi shared them with the world. The handsome couple donned beautiful Sabyasachi creations for their big day. While Romit donned a classic black sherwani with gold buttons from the House of Sabyasachi, Walter opted for an embroidered creation in black and gold.
A beautiful NRI couple residing in America just proved that gay weddings can be stylish too. The new Jersey based couple - Amit Shah and Aditya Madiraju tied the knot in a traditional ceremony at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Robbinsville in New Jersey America and it was a dreamy affair. The grooms who proved love is love, twinned on their big day in Anita Dongre ensembles. While Amit wore Abhivira Kurta set by the designer, Aditya slayed in the Amartya Kurta set by the same designer. The duo finished off their look with multiple layered ruby necklace.
