An inexpensive biomaterial to sustainably replace plastic laminates is developed by Penn State University, which also helps to reduce pollution effectively. The main source of this material is chitin and chitosan usually found in shrimp, crab and lobster shell. The material has unexpected strong, insoluble adhesive properties useful for various other purposes. Event people can use this for construction and even for flooring, which can reduce their expenses to a greater extent.
