PHD Media Indonesia has appointed Surya Soni as its new Managing Director. Soni brings over 22 years of media and advertising experience to his new role, besides this Soni brings in invaluable knowledge of the telecom sector, having worked for the likes of Vodafone and Idea Cellular within India’s competitive mobile market before landing in Indonesia. Before PHD, he previously worked with Mindshare, Zenith Optimedia, Mediacom Indonesia and NAVA+ in India and Indonesia.

During his last stint with NAVA+ ,an integrated marketing company, he led the vertical of Insights, Media and Digital marketing. Before that he managed the AOR fo the clients like P&G and BAT at Mediacom[GroupM, Indonesia].

In his conversation with Eventaa News, Soni said that PHD’s innovative approach to comms planning, as well as the Group’s impressive Omni platform allows the agency to come up with truly out-of-the-box media thinking for its clients. “The agency’s product and talent have already earned a strong name in the Indonesian market, and I’m excited to be part of their continued success story,” he added.
