One of the winners for exhibitor magazine’s 20th Annual Sizzler Awards was the "Avo-Matic" food-service station. This food station was not just unique in its innovation but also best example of experiential marketing. A lot of attendees were drawn to this food vending machine. Behind these machines a team of three meal-preparation professionals are laden with 3 recipes. Attendees placed their orders at one of four touchscreens embedded in the front. Once they hit "Confirm" button the recipe was transferred to a delicious platter.
While their dishes were being prepared, the attendees' touchscreens ran a video extolling the benefits of avocados and avocado-infused recipes. This could be inspiring for event planners and can replace avocado recipe video with their product promotional video.
