Sports event to witness world’s first 5G experience

The world’s first ever 5G network to be tested at a sports event. From old days, sports events have remained the platform for the debut of various products, this time it is 5G internet. 5G - Next Generation Communication Networks will be put on trial at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, Korea. The official launch of 5G is estimated to be 2020 but to check its prototype the provider chose winter Olympics as the occasion. With faster speed and ultra-low latency, 5G will ultimately deliver and enhance experiences like virtual reality, future driverless cars, immersive 4K video and more.  Considering all these tech diversities, it is much anticipated technology for event industry. If event planners want to check the performance of the technology they should be keeping a close eye on it.
