Dell leaving its foot-print at SXSW 2018 with its exceptional marketing campaign


Dell at SXSW 2018 in Austin focused on experiential marketing for entertaining their creative audience. A program that aligned with each phase of the festivals, including film, music, technology, and innovation, and gaming. Among various experiential experiments, immersive DJ VR was chief attraction promoting DELL VR headset Visor which was powered by Dell Alienware.  The campaign involves users to put on a VR headset, become the “DJ” and create music in a virtual setting. They can view this whole experience in a VR atmosphere.  Beside this, a gaming trailer and a robot bartender who served drinks on event nights helped tell a story about the partnerships between humans and machines.  On top of that, they presented new jewelry line made from gold reclaimed from motherboards.

Users could pose in front of recycled motherboards and devices, and share it online or print out a copy.
