Karnavati Club to prepare parking for 1400 cars in Navaratri

After imposing strict traffic and parking regulations by Ahmedabad Police, Karnavati Club have decided to set up 1400 car parking arrangements this Navratri. Jayesh Modi, President of Karnavati Club said that they will ask permission from a municipal commissioner and police commissioner for ten days celebration of Navratri with new parking proposal.

Currently, Karnavati Club has parking space for 1000 cars. Karnavati Club is planning to take the open plots around the club on rent for ten days. The management is discussing this thing with the plot owners and members who owns plot around the venue.

In one of the member’s plot behind the club they can accommodate 150 car parks. Now, including some other plots, the club is sure about expanding the parking space for 1400 cars. The management believes that club will have the parking space for 4-5 thousand people. This way, the Garba enthusiasts, will enter Karnavati Club this Navratri without a fear of getting their vehicle towed by police.

The club had an annual income of 15 crores last year, which has increased to 22 crores this year. Karnavati Clubs have started the process of reducing power bills by generating electricity from the sources of wind energy. Windmill will produce more than 36 lakh units of electricity annually. The windmill started before 11 days, has produced 1.70 lakh units of electricity so far. So now onwards, when the club receives free electricity, the amount will be spent on the development.
