In Ahmedabad, State Transport Corporation to provide decorated buses on rent for wedding transportation

Now onwards, State Transport Corporation will provide buses on rent for wedding transportation in Ahmedabad. For the first time, ST Corporation has decorated 12 buses to match the essence of the wedding

An official of the ST Corporation said that private buses and tractors or mini-trucks are used for traveling from one place to another by families at the time of the wedding. These vehicles often met with accidents, and many people lost their lives in these accidents. So to curb the situation, CM announced plans for safe and cheap traveling during wedding.

The buses have been painted with colors and design influenced from wedding, a regular commute in this bus, will evoke a similar feeling like going to a wedding. ST Corporation decorated bus with the painting of bride and groom, and other scenes of wedding rituals. Currently, 12 such buses have been prepared by corporation. In next few days, there is a plan to provide one bus each to 125 bus depots in 16 divisions.

Bus fares declared by State Transport Corporation

High-end buses have been ordered to provide better Volvo Bus service to the people of the state. In the first phase, the corporation has got 15 buses. These new Volvo Buses will be run on long distance routes in Gujarat, from Gujarat to Pali in Rajasthan, Mumbai and Pune in Rajasthan, and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

The decision of ST Corporation will be a relief for low budget weddings.
