Foodies Favourite World Mithai and Namkeen Convention 2019 to take place at Indore

After the grand success of “World Mithai & Namkeen Convention” 2017, at New Delhi and demand from the industry, the second edition of WMNC is organized on 9-10 January 2019 at Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore. As Indore is the capital of Namkeen and Mithai business in the country having 100s of manufacturers within 50-100 km area.

Indian Mithai and Namkeen industry is the biggest sector of the food processing industry of the country worth more than Rs. 1,00,000 crore. Within last five years, the industry grows with 20 percent with each passing year. Many of the medium and small scale manufacturers are having growth rate much more than their bigger counter parts.

WMNC 2019 is expected to host more than 100 stalls and more than 4000 visitors and delegates from all over the country. Mithai and Namkeen segment is at the nascent stage of branding and its true potential is yet to be explored. Gatherings like WMNC will help the industry to understand the latest global trends of the industry, interaction with industry leaders and a platform for exchange of dialogues.

This two days event will provide enough time for visitors to meet all the relevant exhibitors. The grand conclave will take place on second day where some of the leading global speakers along with industry leaders will take part in the show to discuss various subjects.

The industry leaders will discuss and try to resolve the issues related to the industry like plastic packaging and its recycling, food safety and hygiene, weights & measures, fortification, raw materials & right ingredients will be discussed during the convention.

International speakers and panelists will also deliver their thought on customized solutions, health and nutrition, latest technologies and packaging trends. One of the panel discussion is devoted to youngsters or young turks of the industry. They will express their viewpoint and outlook about the future of this industry for the next decade to come.
