ALAAPANA is a low profile but highly charged group dedicated to the cause of music more through passion- a light music troupe that has been performing in and around Chennai for over 10 years.

Vinod, an advertising professional with a great penchant for music and brother of leading playback singer Sujatha Mohan, heads the troupe. He is a popular stage singer, who began his singing career by participating in various intercollegiate festivals and earning accolades as best vocalist, including a state level competition.
