Badshah was born in New Delhi and at the age of 17 he came to Chandigarh. He completed his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Punjab Engineering College in the year 2006 and joined the music industry in the same year.
Badshah is a Punjabi singer, wrapper, music producer and lyricist. His most popular songs include "abhi toh party shuru hui hai" which he did for the movie Khoobsurat (2014 film) and "Saturday Saturday" which he did for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
