BaLaLaIkA" is a 5 piece Rock Band from Pune, combining various influences from Indian classical, Punk, hard rock.

Balalaika is named after a Russian Guitar. It is a characteristic triangular body with three nylon strings which gives a pleasant and melodic tone which is used by the band in some projects.

Band balalaika was officially formed in the year 2010 and since it has been delivering many shows and also some other projects like composing Theme song for websites, for short film etc.

Besides the band has also composed original tracks viz. Tum ho Wahi ,Parindey, Zindagi, Rehanuma. The very first song ‘Tum ho wahi’ was officially recorded and launched in the year 2013. This song has been much popular and loved by many music lovers.

 Each song being composed is completely of different genre which reflects the bands motto of being ‘genre free band’. Rock , Hard Rock , Punk , Sufi , are some flavors that can be seen in the original tracks of this band which makes is experimental rock band .
