Meher Malik is proud to present the Banjara School of Dance, an intiative to bring together different dancers from different styles and cultures of dance.
Banjara is not merely a dance company but an artistic shelter where different minds,bodies and souls will meet to create higher and greater levels of dance in this country.

The word Banjara translates to gypsy - a word given to travellers who lead a nomadic lifestlye. Somewhere,every artist is a gypsy - always searching for more, an inspiration, a story. A note in the soul of every human being is an artist - searching for whats beautiful, what\'s aesthetic. Were all gypsies - our mind wanders to the sea or mountains when life gets too full of itself.

We\'re all travellers. We\'re all wanderes. We\'re all artists.

The basic aim of banjara is"to express not to impress". To give a life through dance to change the opinions that people might have about art and artists.
