Chiradip Banerjee is one of the senior most disciple of Tabla Maestro Pandit Anindo Chatterjee. He is an 'A' Grade Tabla Artiste of All India Radio, Kolkata.He is a B.COM(Hons.) in Accountancy. He is Sangeet Praveen(Master of Music) and UGC 'NET'(eligibility of lectureship) in Tabla. He completed his 3 years contract on January 2009 as a Tabla Teacher cum Performer at Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, High Commission of India, Mauritius appointed by ICCR, New Delhi. He is an empanelled Tabla Artiste of ICCR.
