Son of a renowned Classical vocalist Late Ustad Hilal Ahmed Khan of Delhi Gharana, Danish Khan was attracted from his early childhood to the Indian Classical Vocal. He has received initial training from his father who was considered an important figure in the Indian music scene. Discovering his Gold-gifted natural talent for singing his renowned vocalist cousin Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan took him under his prestigious wings and is training him all forms of Indian classical as well as semi classical music. Danish is well known for his versatility and his vocal expression has been described as solid, substantial, graceful and supple. His renditions have been described as uniquely powerful and delicate at the same time. He sings a whole range of Classical and Semi Classical music. His rich voice makes him versatile. He has a privilege of belonging to the tradition old Dilli Gharana, one of the oldest gharana.
