Debashish Dasguta was born and brought up in the city of Kolkata. At the age of 12 he started performing for stage shows in "Kanpur".He there after continued with shows in Kolkata.Here he did numerous recordings in Bangali,Private albums and Jingles as well.During this period he had won many awards for himself.In the year 1987 he settles in Mumbai ,where he started as playback singer for T-Series Company.Debashish Dasgupta started with many stage performances locally and all over india,which gave him great recognitation as a playback singer.He has sang for the original sound tracks of Mohammed Rafi sahab and as a result he performed for many more shows in Mumbai, under banners like "Ek Shaam Rafi Ke Naam" .He recorded hsi first movie soundtrack with T-Series for the movies "Jeena Teri Gali Mein" and there after "Shola Aur Shabnam" "Sadak" Dil Hain Ke Manta Nehi" "Geet" and "Andaz Apna Apna".He has also sang in many South Indian movies as well.
