Founded in 2010, Ek Talab is a Sufi and Hard Rock band from Lucknow (UP). Playing a blend of Sufi, Retro and rock influences, they are not your typical fusion band. Their sound is distinctly characteristic, finely balancing traditional hindustani vocals with western elements of jazz, blues and rock music.


It was not easy because the band initially struggled a lot due to lack of gigs, resources and support. Ek Talab played their debut Gig at LMIT Lucknow and after that have performed in many more collage's. But in 2011 Ek Talab naturalized themselves because member's lacked good quality equipment. But in 2012....

Once again Ek Talab have pushed the boundaries of sufi & hard rock to new heights and setting an extreme standard by which others will follow. Ek Talab have quite literally gone where no band has gone before...Therefore now 

With 2 Original Composition to their name, Ek Talab have plans of releasing their first video song in 2012.
