Hema has recently rendered her voice for two Bollywood films, under the music direction of Bappi Lahiri. One of the songs is a duet with Bappi Lahiri himself and the other, a solo.

Recently she has hit the International circuit once again with her lyrics and songs in the English Film 'The Coffin Maker', starring Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak and Randeep Hooda, which was chosen at International Film Festivals in countries such as Italy and Greece, and the New York Film Festival too. And IFFI in India as well as The Kerala Film festival too.
