Heramba Hemantha are from the mystic district of Kodagu (Coorg) in Karnataka. Hailing from this small town, the duo carry a big dream and aspire to achieve great heights, in their field of Passion – Music. In spite of being deprived from the exposure that aspiring youngsters in the music field from big city’s get this duo, have come a long way in achieving what they aspire to be.
Heramba and Hemantha hail from a rich cultural tradition. They are the grandsons of “Bhakti Sangeetha Ratna” Ambale Subbarao, an esteemed Musician, Cultural personality, Writer and Guru. Their Aunt Guru Vidushi Ambale Rajeshwari is one of the senior most Dance Gurus of Mysore Bharatanatyam Tradition. Their Father is a respected musician himself; Ambale Satyaprasad is an Mridangist of known merit. Their Other aunt Vidushi Late Bharati Shyamanna was a scholarly musician residing in Bangalore.
