Indresh Mishra is an eminent Indian classical vocalist representing the Kirana & Banaras Gharana. He is proficient singer of various different genres of Hindustani vocal music like Khyal, Thumri, Dadra, Chaiti and Kajari,Holi, Ghato, Sohar Tappa . He is following the semi classical tradition of Benaras which resembles the pure and different category of singing. Born in a musical family, He is one of the foremost young Hindustani classical vocalists of his generation in India. He borned on 20th June 1988 at Sonebhadra (U.P). He received his initial training of vocal from his father Pt Uma nath Mishra. He has also imbibed the nuances of the Tabla from his uncle Pt Ram Naresh Mishra. Presently, He is learning the music by Padmabhushan Pt Channulal Mishra, a highly respected and accomplished representative of the Banaras Gharana.
