Jai Kumar nair started dancing when he was barely 10. With appreciation he got for his performances at cultural events, over time he realised that, this was his passion.
Coming from a modest background it was certainly not a cakewalk. But Jai had a fire in his heart and burning desire to go after his dreams. Soon he was doing shows with his mentor and his hard work and dedication took him all over the country and even across the globe with professionals. This encouraged him further in his endeavors and he continued to dance putting his best foot forward.
In no time, Jai cracked it when he won the BOOGIE WOOGIE MAHAYUDH SOLO CHAMPIONSHIP in 2007. That was only the beginning & he went on to participate in India is biggest dance reality show, DANCE INDIA DANCE Season 1 in 2009 and was one of the finalists in the show and among the top 4 dancers in the country. This proved to be one of his biggest achievements. As from here on, he got worldwide recognition and have never looked back since. This was followed by The Skipper/ Mentor of DID LIL MASTERS in 2010, JHALAK DHIKKLA JAA Season 4 & 5, where Jai was the choreographer for the popular actress and director, Renuka Shahane, followed by season 5 of the same show where he mentored Darsheel Safary. He consider this as a milestone in his journey and passion for dance. He was also aSkipper/ Mentor of a recent dance reality show DID SUPER MOM'S 2013, Zee TV, India.
