With the shared interest in music and diverse musical backgrounds, a bunch of young musicians got together in the city of Ahmedabad, India in 2009 and chose to call themselves Meghdhanush. Meghdhanush is the Hindi translation for Rainbow.

Since then, Meghdhanush has performed all over India and internationally at various music festivals and events. Meghdhanush performs in the genre of Experimental Rock. Apart from performing at live shows, Meghdhanush also produces music, arranges background scores for film projects and composes jingles.
