Nandini Shankar, one of the exceedingly talented daughters of Mr. Shankar Devraj and the violin maestro Dr. Sangeeta Shankar, began her training in music from the tender age of 3 under the tutelage of her mother and illustrious grandmother, Padmabhushan Dr. N. Rajam, the ace violinist of the country.
Her progress has been enormously astonishing and she has reached a high level of proficiency.
Nandini gave her first public performance as a young 8 year old, and her first full-fledged solo concert when she was just 13. She has performed in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in the year 2016.
She has travelled the globe for her performances in countries like USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, UAE, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore. She has performed in various prestigious festivals like the Europalia, Sawai Gandharva, Saptak, Dover Lane, and has been telecast in Idea Jalsa. She is a part of Sakhi, india's first ever all-girl Indian classical musical band.
