Team Ideation, operating from Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, is an event management firm that also provides services for Film Production & Radio Programming.
Talking with creative director of Team Ideation, Wasim Khan about how digitalization is impacting business of Event management and promotion in Srinagar he says,” This transformation seems to have brought about the technological revolution in terms of cutting edge gadgetry and laser sharp control to the table and has equipped the industry with razz matzah at a cheaper price but the biggest challenge that it brings as a package is Robotic artificial intelligence and preprogrammed display of extravagance. This is sad because the creative expression and aspect of thinking out of the box have taken a back seat. Every TD&H with the right connection and cash bag to buy new technology has overshadowed the creative ingenuity and thought. Hence every event looks similar and copied from each other. The need is for new and Ideas and concepts rather than the new toys in the market.”
Glimpses of events that were previously managed by Team Ideation:
Team Ideation expertizes in providing creative services, media management, designing services, product launch, live marketing, brand promotions, exhibitions, corporate films and it assists you by giving out management services for events like meeting and conferences, press conferences, seminars, annual days and festivals. It also helps you customize your own events.
When asked about the difference between organizing an event in Srinagar versus other cities, Mr. Khan says, “While organizing an event in Srinagar, a lot of emphases has to be given on the cultural aspect & the traditions related to that event than compared to events happening in other cities! The technological aspects are still growing in Srinagar, J & K and are not to be taken care in the same way as in other parts of India.”
About their current activity, Wasim says,” Team Ideation is currently managing The Tulips Festival in Srinagar. Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia's largest tulip garden, which has about 12 lakh tulips of 51 varieties in its lap on the banks of world famous Dal lake was thrown open to visitors from Sunday 1st, April.”
Speaking about the significance and response of people at Tulip’s Festival he adds,” 1st April marked the beginning of new tourism season in the Kashmir Valley. The Tulip Garden in the backdrop of mighty Zabarwan range of mountains was thrown open for public, including tourists and locals, on Sunday, where about 3000 people visited the garden on the first day.”
