Moog has revealed the newest addition to its top-of-the-line synth collection: Matriarch. The Matriarch produces an array of new sounds to mix and match Djs collection and thrill the party goers into an intoxicating sound beats. The 49-key Matriarch expands the sound engine to a four-oscillator design capable of functioning in mono, duo and four-note paraphonic modes.
The Moog Matriarch is a patchable 4-note paraphonic analog synthesizer with a built-in Sequencer, Arpeggiator, stereo Ladder Filters, and stereo Analog Delay. The first preview of the Matriarch will be open to the public during Moogfest's 2019 edition at the Moog Pop-Up Factory. The price range for this Matriarch is estimated around $1,999. This could certainly be used as a standalone instrument, but it’s built to also be a processor for external sound sources and be a front end keyboard to expand the Eurorack modular system.
